A Boy or A Girl?... Now You Can Know Earlier Than Ever!
Baby gender prediction Made Super Easy

Am I having a girl or a boy?

This is THE question we always ask as soon as we know we're having a baby. In spite of our loads of anxiety the answer is pure guesswork until the baby is born, or until no earlier than week 20th. when the baby is big enough for the gender to be determined through an ultrasound. Our advanced DNA technology allows you to predict the sex of your baby with high accuracy just after 6 weeks of gestation. Yes, about a month and a half after conception.

How does the early gender prediction test work?

Scientists recently learned that small amounts of fetal cells make their way to the mother's bloodstream. This starts happening at week 6 and until the baby is born. Those fetal cells contain DNA, and as we know, DNA can be readily analyzed. Specific tests can accurately show if the mother's blood carries DNA from chromosome Y. A positive result indicates that the baby is a boy as the mother lacks the Y-chromosome in her cells. A negative result tells that the baby is a girl. Although very recent, this technology has been scientifically demonstrated to work through strict studies published in prestigious journals. Baby gender prediction is now applied science.

How accurate is the prediction of the gender?

The method to determine a beby's gender is based on the PCR technique. based on the study published in the Journal of Human Genetics, this method is 99% accurate in predicting fetal gender. A positive result for male gender means that Y-chromosome DNA is present in the mother's blood so the baby has to be a boy. If the result of the baby gender test says girl, there is a slight chance that the baby is a boy but the amount of Y-chromosome DNA is too low to be detected by PCR. However, this happens very rarely.

Does the baby gender test pose any risk for the baby or the mother?

There is no risk for the baby or the mother. As we discussed above, only blood from the mother is used to perform the sex prediction test. No fetal material is ever used as the method is absolutely non-invasive for the baby. A few drops of blood taken from a mother's finger is sufficient for the early gender prediction test.

Is it better than ultrasound?Baby gender test ultrasound

Until now, ultrasound was the only reliable way to predict the gender of an unborn baby. The gender of the baby can be predicted only after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Before that the baby is just too small and underdeveloped, making it difficult to observe the genitalia or internal organs such as ovaries. The new DNA-based gender prediction test is 99% accurate (more than ultrasound), but the best part s that it can be done as early as six weeks after conception.
